The English Language and Linguistics Department at the University of Sussex are excited to announce the first of a series of interdisciplinary colloquia on the language of the Coronavirus epidemic, diving into discourse analytic and sociolinguistic approaches to the Coronavirus pandemic. The conference will take place over the 22nd and 23rd of October 2021 on Zoom. The 20–minute live presentations will be followed by 10–minute Q&A sessions, including two plenary talks.
